Someone with a deep experience with Responsive website coding, CSS3/HTML5, JS, AJAX, and JQuery. But, most importantly, someone who fits in well with our Merry Band of Misfits and Digital Do-Gooders.
The scope of the position covers everything from concept, wireframing, designing, and coding websites that will be converted into WordPress for our clients. We need a front end developer who is at their core a great designer as well.

SAFETY FIRST:  You will be working 100% remote until it is safe for us to return to our hybrid model where you have notable flexibility in your scheduled time in our downtown Tampa office – meeting deadlines and planned collaboration time are the main requirements.  We will consider a fully remote position for the right fit you live in Florida but are outside the Tampa Bay area.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members from concept to design, and through deployment for dynamic, engaging web experiences tailored to different needs, unique brands, and diverse target audiences
• Provide input on best practices to provide the ultimate user experience to drive conversions
• Prototype and wireframe websites
• Design websites using Adobe CreativeCloud Apps - XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Collaborate with and team with Creative Director and Sr. Designer
• Create and deploy static responsive code for approved website designs
• Wordpress theme updates
• Ongoing website updates for existing clients to static and WordPress websites
• Assist in campaign design
Requirements:
• MUST live in Florida.  LOCAL to Tampa Bay Area HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing websites and graphic design
• Agency experience highly preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating high level experience in responsive website design
• Comfortable working in WordPress and child themes
• Able to write your own JS, Edit JQuery Libraries, and find open source classes to meet project requirement
• Ability to effectively QA your work for design, usability, and browser compatibility
• Git, SVN, or other version control system
• Passionate about all aspects of the digital landscape with a specific love of design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and independently prioritize tasks
