Position Description
The Quality Auditor is responsible and has the authority for monitoring, recording, reporting and follow-up on specified bottle, label, requirement in a safe, accurate, and timely manner to support reduction of produced defective product and defect-free product shipments.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibility as outlined in the BOS Manual, Operational Procedures, and all other Instruction Manuals
• Function within the BOS and team environment
• Conduct line checks and lab checks
• Record data on forms provided
• Complete destructive and non-destructive testing
• Complete sampling of bottle components
• Reject nonconforming items
• Performing required incoming inspections
• Ensure correct bottle and unit orientation
• Ensure correct scrap recovery procedures are followed
• Coordinate with other quality, conversion and logistics personnel
• Maintain computer data files
• Provide required support to Conversion in any aspect of conformance to requirements
• Assist Conversion employee in answering telephone calls when the front office is closed
• Observing all local and Company safety policies and procedures as well as housekeeping requirements
• Responsible for maintaining BOS standards
• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• MUST be able to work a 12-hour PM shift - typically 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM on a 3-2-2 schedule
• Associates Degree or 3 years prior work experience
• Team oriented
• Must possess basic mathematical skills
• Must possess strong verbal and communication skills
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have flexibility of job assignments
• Must be able to read shipping and receiving documents
• Basic computer skills
• Physical effort required, continuous mental and visual attention required
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Walk up stairs
• Manual dexterity
• Exposed to dust, odors, oil and noise
• Ability to work in non-permit required confined spaces and at heights of 15’ to 20’
• Overtime required per schedule, 7-day week operation
