Description
The Lead Cloud Architect leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. The Lead Cloud Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Lead Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments. Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

• The CarePlus team is transforming their products using PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS. The team is focused on shutting down legacy systems and implementing technology solutions which will enable innovation in the future.
• The Lead Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments.
• The Lead Cloud Architect advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
• The Lead Cloud Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• The Lead Cloud Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• The Lead Cloud Architect understands and promotes Micro-Services, Cloud Native Development(using Salesforce.com and Service and Health Cloud) for high quality, highly secured practices.
• The Lead Cloud Architect exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision and uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8 or more years of technical experience
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce Certification (Admin, Developer, Architect, etc.)
