As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design Linux and Windows systems in support of the military . Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize new technologies . You’ll develop your skills in VMware, Linux , Windows, and the cloud, including AWS, Azure, and Google while gaining experience in advanced analytics and data science . You Have:
• 5+ years of experience in working with VMware
• Experience in architecting a vSphere environments with vSan as storage
• Experience in working with virtual networking, including configuring vSwitches with multiple subnets
• Ability to configure, manage, and maintain virtual machines
• Ability to upgrade, patch, and maintain ESXi host
• Ability to design, recommend, and deploy emerging server virtualization technologies
• Ability to configure group policy and DHCP
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Security + certification
Nice If You Have:
• Experience with working in a Windows domain environment
• Experience in working with DoD mandated software such as ACAS, HBSS, and STIGs
• Experience with using SCCM and WSUS to patch, run a PXE Server, and distribute software to users
• Knowledge of SQL Server
• Knowledge of NFS and roaming profiles
• Ability to design, recommend, and deploy emerging server virtualization technologies
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Ability to configure and maintain domain controllers
• Ability to create DNS records
• BA or BS degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
