This role will assist as a Route Driver at accounts as assigned, Relief Coverage Driver for routes to assist with Driver vacation coverage, warehouse duties as assigned including equipment preparation, moving and order assembly. The Operational Services Associate drives a company vehicle to deliver products when assigned or render services and fills and maintains vending, coffee, and other related equipment. At times, the Operational Services Associate will visit customers and must always be professional and have a positive image while building excellent client and customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
· Fill, clean and maintain snack, soda, food and coffee vending machines and other related equipment daily. Perform product rotation to ensure freshness.
· Maintaining market and coffee stations appearance through constant organization and cleaning
· Maintain accurate service and inventory records and strictly follow a preset route.
· Be able to troubleshoot and perform basic machine repairs is not necessary but a plus.
· Work independently 95% of the day and have superior customer relations skills. Communicate with customers about new products and services and listen to and report/resolve service issues.
· Use a handheld computer/tablet throughout the entire day (training provided).
· Work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills.
· Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
· Ensure secure application of pick ticket and staging in designated route driver areas, on trucks or pallets in the Warehouse
· Pull merchandise from warehouse stock boxes, shelves, cooler and freezers
· Record selected products in accordance with standard procedures using LightSpeed software, handcarts, and tablets.
· Maintain cooler and freezers in a clean orderly manner and consolidates stock to create room for incoming product
· Receive and verify all inbound deliveries and locate proper pick location. Map new products, as necessary.
· Perform end of shift tasks such as trash and cardboard removal, sweeping, cleaning, disinfecting, recharging tablets, and organizing for the next day
· Participate in all physical inventories
· Ensure warehouse, restrooms, and outside areas are clean, organized, secure and safe always. Return tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and supplies to assigned location.
· Work overtime when required
· Perform any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the General Manager or Supervisor related to route or warehouse as assigned.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must be eligible to work in the United Sates
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and handle high volume workload
· Regular attendance and punctuality. Reliable transportation
· Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
· Successful completion of Pre-employment background check and drug screening
· Valid driver’s license and Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years
Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday
· Ability to walk a minimum of 4 miles during the workday
· Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50
pounds without assistance
· Ability to get in and out of a box truck and use a hand cart
· Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching
at the waist; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees.
· Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for
example, pallet jack, hand truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100
yards without assistance.
· Frequently work in a hot/humid outdoor environment.
· Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to
complete job activities.
· Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print.
Drug Screen and Background Check Required
*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close,
failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Florida Fresh Vending guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.
