Full Job Description
We are looking for an installation tech to install office furniture on a daily basis and to perform a variety of installation and labor tasks. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have a professional appearance. As an installation tech, you will be part of a team of installers our company has and will represent Precizion Installations in the field. Our installers duties include installing office cubicles, executive offices and office furniture. You will work with hand tools that you supply at various locations throughout Florida. You will assemble, disassemble, relocate, and reconfigure office furniture. To be successful as an Installer, you should have an urgency to complete any task given. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while installing product and ensuring a quality result for our customers. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, an Installer’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the office furniture and installations are completed on time and with the highest quality standards.
This position will require sitting, standing, walking ,climbing, kneeling, crawling, pushing and pulling for extended periods of time. Basic tool requirements: Cordless drill with (2) batteries, magnetic bit holder, drill bits for various substructures, assorted screwdriver set, dead blow hammer (rubber mallet), torpedo level, pry bar, 25’ tape measure, open ended wrench set, ⅜” drive socket set 1/4” - ¾” and channel locks
Responsibilities
• Installation of executive desks
• Installation of office cubicles
• Loading and unloading product off trailer trucks for installation
• Cleaning and removal of trash from job site
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
• Demonstrate safe work habits
• Assist warehouse personal with receiving deliveries
Skills
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to lift 75 pounds at a time
• Must have valid drivers licence
• Detail oriented
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to mount furniture to walls
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to work independently and as a team member
• Able to follow direction from leads and supervisors
