JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary
The Sr. Manager, Payment Processing Operations serves as the primary liaison between Green Dot and our external processing partners for disbursement operations. This role drives the proper execution of Green Dot’s strategic product vision while ensuring consistent and accurate operational integrity. The Sr. Manager, Payment Processing Operations will support new product and feature enhancements making sure Green Dot products retain best in class capabilities. The Sr. Manager, Payment Processing Operations will also develop and monitor key operational metrics to measure the performance of existing products and ensure operational excellence. The Sr. Manager, Payment Processing Operations Analyst will also monitor partner performance according to defined SLAs and assist with troubleshooting and issue remediation.
Job Responsibilities
• Analyze workflow bottlenecks and streamline processes, establish policies and procedures and system enhancements as needed
• Collaborate with our Enterprise-level service providers and Green Dot Bank for all new partner operational set-ups
• Spearhead projects related to business continuity initiatives, internal audit and enterprise risk assessment
• Work with accounting and reporting to ensure proper settlement and reconciliation of funds
• Identify and fix inefficiencies or system issues resulting in loss of revenue
• Work with Account Managers to help monitor 3rd party partner deliverables, exception reports and contractual obligations on a consistent basis; manage contracts for Enterprise-level service providers
• Establish and foster relationships with 3rd party service providers to deliver ongoing enhancements and new revenue initiatives
• Interact with multiple departments and partners to promote collaborative decision-making, provide direction and guidance by establishing appropriate levels of urgency to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met while reducing costs
• Act as a bridge in communication and resolution for escalated Partner issues
• Engage proper internal teams for service upgrades and enhancements with 3rd party service providers
• Partner with the Green Dot IT on proper monitoring and responses to issues. Represent division at internal RCA reviews
• Represent the Money Processing division for annual Business Continuity updates, and Annual Disaster Recovery events
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing business operations
• Demonstrated experience in leading operations at financial institutions or payment technology companies
• Ability to accurately value improvement opportunities, both in terms of dollar cost and qualitative benefits
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and drive major change in a matrix environment
• Project management skills, including verbal communications, work plan development, delegation, issue resolution, coaching & facilitation
• Ability to succeed in challenging situations where the problem or resolution is ambiguous
