Full Job Description
This position is responsible, according to process and procedure, for handling and monitoring the quality of material that will be converted into a finished product; packaging materials; and related scrap that results from forming and other associated processes.
Handle and move (e.g. pack, feed, palletize, aerate, bale) process specific material/product consistent with the assigned position, the machine speed, and customer and quality specifications.
Ensure that all materials associated with the converting process and consistent with the assigned position are available in the correct quantities and in the correct location for the order being run. (E.g. RSCs, dividers, bags, film, blanks, etc.)
Remove jams at the machine position and restart the machine as required by the position.
Communicate any machine or product issues to the operator or supervisor.
Responsible for ensuring, where applicable, the product safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and legality of all products produced and sold.
Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
Equivalent experience or experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
Safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required.
In addition, task-specific PPE may be required.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand/walk continually
Constant lifting, pulling, pushing, 20 to 40 lbs
Constant bending, stooping, kneeling, & reaching

Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
