Full Job Description
Palm Harbor Construction - A Division of Palm Harbor Homes, a Cavco Company is looking for a Mobile/Modular Home Installer/Crew Member.
The job will be full time, hours to be worked will vary depending on job location. Typical start time will be 7:00 am and end at completion of job daily. Out of town and long distance jobs will have earlier times.
We are looking for an experienced mobile/modular home installer to work in a team environment for our expanding business needs in our mobile/modular home installation department. This position would report to the Crew Team Leader and assist in the overall installation process including but not limited to:
• Daily vehicle inspection of company vehicle
• Maintain tools and equipment on truck
• Transporting material trailer and personnel to and from jobsite
• Insuring the installation is to Palm Harbor Homes standards and State codes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work site at all times.
• Successful applicants must have:
• Relevant previous mobile/modular home experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Work with safety conscious outlook
• Ability to be trained and take direction
• Ability to work in a team with others
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivation and driven to succeed
