Job Summary
If you have a passion for performance automobiles, then this is the coolest job in the world!! BMR Suspension is the leading manufacturer of suspension products for Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, and Chevelles. We are looking to hire a Prototype Welder Fabricator to work in our Design Engineering Department. In this position, you will be part of the team that designs performance automotive suspension products. Previous welding and fabricating experience in a chassis shop is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills
The following requirements must be met:
• Must be a dynamic, high energy person (no slackers)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (written test will be given)
• Must be intelligent (IQ test will be given)
• Must have a high school diploma
• Must pass a drug test
• No felony convictions
• Safety conscious
• Must be a car guy or truck guy!
Applicants must be intelligent, must have strong values, must have a history of company loyalty, and must be interested in American muscle cars.
Experience with metal fab equipment such as a cold saw, tube bender, band saw, iron worker, press brake, vertical milling machine, manual lathe, and drill press is required.
Experience with both MIG and TIG welding of steel tubing is required.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Priority will be given to people who customize their own autos or trucks.
Priority will be given to people with a military background.

This position is currently located in Seffner, but will relocate to Lakeland (I-4 and County Line Road) in 6 months.
Pay rate based on experience and fabrication skills.
