POSITION : Installer Technician - Level 4
LOCATION : Tampa, FL

SUMMARY
Perform and or direct and supervise the performance of all installation and construction requirements of Cell, Transmission, and Fiber systems with a minimum of supervision. Fully understands all company policies and procedures and safety requirements. Administers all company/customer installation documents. Ability to conduct in-process quality audits and resolve any project related issues. The Installer/Technician is capable of supervising small to large size projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Must have mastered all installation skills and be able to train other employees in those skills. Be able to perform all the duties of the Installer Level 3 with a high degree of competence and accuracy.
• Mastered all equipment installation skills on a wide variety of installations and systems including: AC/DC Power systems, low/high-density fiber systems, 4G and 5G Cell and Backhaul, Central Office Infrastructure and supervisory / alarm systems. Sea Cable Systems installation a plus.
• Must be able to do test and turn-up on equipment utilizing computers, test equipment and testing/diagnostic software. Must be able to assist other employees in these procedures.
• Supervises lower-level installers in basic installation and testing requirements
• High level of understanding of all company policies and practices, safety procedures, paperwork, and administrative requirements. Will review subordinates time and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply job/equipment specifications, installation documents, schematics, and test records. Demonstrated proficiency in generating MOP’s, High risk activity reports, work schedules, test records, and project completion reports.
• Must be able to perform in-process and final quality audits to ensure all items meet or exceed industry and/or customer standards.
• Has the ability to work on multiple projects which may have several locations.
• Ability to interface with customers, vendors, and other company employees in the completion of, testing of and turning up of equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 4 to 6+ years of installation experience and evidence of having performed as a successful crew lead
• High School Diploma with two years of technical school or a combination of training and experience related to the communications installation field preferred
• Travel required in Florida and occasional US without restrictions, as required. Expenses paid by employer
• Prior team leadership experience
• Candidate must possess a wide variety of installer tools and test meters necessary to complete the most advanced assignments and installations as well as testing and turning up
• Fully understands all company/customer policies and procedures and safety requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office skills
• Must be able to vertically lift 50lbs. Required to stand, walk, climb ladders, and crawl in tight spaces.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass all pre-employment background checks and must be insurable.  Passport or ability to get a passport a plus. Possess a wide variety of personal tools necessary to complete more advanced assignment and installations
