We are looking for Network Architect – Tampa, FL. This is a fulltime permanent position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Skill: Network Architect
Role / Tier: Architect / Tier 1
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and framework
Design, test and inspect data communication systems
Install hardware such as cables, hubs, routers and wireless adapters
Develop technology roadmaps an
Networking Architecture & Design and On-Going Support
Solve complex problems with many variables
Develop test plans, implementation plans and schedules for existing and future projects
Preference (Qualification/Certification)
Proficiency in leading and ramping up the team to address network support activities
Primary point of contact for any technical issues related to network devices and component including Firewalls (Internet, WAN, VPN, NSX/PCI), F5 (Load Balancers, VPN Access), ASA’s (Site-to-Site VPN’s), Infrastructure Architecture, Core Routing & Switching, Azure Cloud Network Support, Website Certificates, Web Application Firewall (Akamai WAF), External DNS (Mark Monitor)
Proficiency in network troubleshooting activities to isolate and diagnose common network problems and lay down short-term and long-term solution strategy
Proficiency in managing external vendor, Vendor Contract management (review and renewal)
Exposure to Cisco, Palo Alto, Akamai, F5, Mark Monitor, Akamai DNS, Merkai, CenturyLink, Cyxtera, Verizon, Verizon Wireless, FiberNet, Presidio, Aestiva (Purchasing)
Education:
Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or related field/equivalent qualification and 5+ years of relevant experience.
