We are looking for Lead Telephony Engineer – Tampa, FL. This is a fulltime permanent position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Skill: Lead Telephony Engineer
Role / Tier: Lead Consultant / Tier 2
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for resolving incident and service requests assigned by network team
Must work in collaboration with 3 rd party vendors/partners to identify and rectify issues
Must implement solutions that provide tactical and long-term solutions
Will proactively monitor working environments and provide suggestions in terms of configuration standardization and process streamlining
Must have proficiency in Core Routing & Switching, Firewalls (internet, WAN, VPN, NSX/PCI)
Must have proficiency in Restaurant VOIP management and troubleshooting Voice over IP issues
Must have proficiency in Networking Architecture & Design, Cisco ISE (Authentication), Video Conference
Preference (Qualification/Certification)
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology
Must have 5 to 8 years of experience supporting the similar kind of role
Must have hands-on experience on managing Verizon T1’s, Verizon 4G, Riverbed, Firemon
Preference would be given to individual with CISCO or any relevant certification to job profile
Education:
Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or related field/equivalent qualification and 5+ years of relevant experience.
