PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION PARALEGAL
Job Description:
Plaintiff's personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced litigation and trial paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage automobile, slip and fall, medical malpractice and nursing home litigation cases. SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.
Ideal candidate must have (i) the ability to multi-task and follow through with tasks and timelines; (ii) must be detail-oriented and organized; and (iii) must be a positive and happy person with a passion for working cases up for trial and attending trial. If you are the type of person that is not willing to produce mediocre results, you are a great candidate for this position.

File Responsibilities:
Prepare complaints, discovery requests, discovery motions, and discovery memorandums.
Scheduling of depositions, hearings, and mediations.
Ensure all discovery propounded on defendant is received.
Prepare discovery responses.
Obtain and interact with experts.
Interact with clients, experts, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
Investigate, gather, organize, and analyze information about client’s case.
Read, interpret, organize, and summarize medical records, earnings and defense documents.
Interview witnesses.
Prepare cases for mediation.
Prepare cases for trial.
Attend trial.
Prepare closing statements.
Education and Experience:
Paralegal degree from a certified educational institution or certification as a legal assistant from the National Association of Legal Assistants preferred and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience in Personal Injury Law.
