Overview:
The goal of the Patient Collections Representative is to resolve outstanding patient balances while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Makes outgoing calls to patients with balances 60 days in AR to 120 days.
Attempts to collect all outstanding patient balances
Resolve patient responsibility using methods that meet the financial needs of the patient while following company policies.
Document patients account accurately
Maintain a positive rapport with internal and external clients at all times.
Perform other duties and functions as directed and/or requested
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent Customer Service skills
1 - 2 years of patient AR collections
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Thorough knowledge of AR collection approach
Practice Management system experience
Previous experience with e-Clinical works preferred
Bi-lingual a plus
