Full Job Description
Confidential community-focused organization seeks dedicated corporate athlete with thick skin and a heart for people. The candidate will provide frontline HR administrative support for an assembly and shipping contract starting immediately. Candidate must have strong generalist background with emphasis on employee relations experience in a manufacturing, operations or warehouse environment. Bachelor's degree in related field required. Must be team-oriented, reliable and committed through the entire project. Must be available to work second shift and weekends (as needed).
Duties:
• Manage and address concerns of frontline temporary employees.
• Counsel frontline supervisors on employee relations issues.
• Maintain positive working relationships with employees, managers, and colleagues.
• Provide the highest quality of HR support and service for 400+ employees.
• Responsible for daily manifesting and invoicing of employee hours.
• Responsible for end of day report generation and processing of invoices.
• Responsible for all daily, weekly, and monthly reports associated with the production and processing of invoices.
• Coordinate documents, gather and input as well as pull data, prepare reports and address routine information requests. Assessing quality and accuracy of the data.
• Gather, compile and verify information and enter it accurately into reports, forms, databases or spreadsheets, manipulating where needed.
• Interpret information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks, and leverage analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insight.
• Respond to routine inquiries related to transportation from external or internal sources.
• Participate as a team member on departmental related business improvement assignments and projects as needed.
• Other functions as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Knowledge and experience working in a warehouse, production, or fulfillment environment desired
• Previous data entry/administrative or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Above average computer knowledge and ability to learn advanced computer functions.
• Ability to work in a multi-company, fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility for adjustments and entries made to the system
• Ability to lift and/or move 35 lbs
• Flexible schedule, some overtime as required
Experience :
• Intermediate level skills with MS Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables).
• Previous experience working in HR in a supply chain environment.
• Time management skills are important as this position deals with a high volume of email and phone inquiries.
• Proven experience developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
