Security Program Responsibilities
•
• Policy development
• Conduct training and awareness campaigns
• Perform internal risk assessments and manage the risk registers
• Ensure external certifications (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)
Operational Responsibilities
•
• Intrusion detection and prevention
• Security information and event management
• Vulnerability scans
• Incident response
Other Responsibilities
•
• Lead the Business Continuity Program
• Facilitate cross-functional communications
• Answer security questionnaires from clients and prospects
• Vendor management
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
•
• Bachelor's Degree in cyber security or related field
• 3+ years experience in the Information Security field
• Certified by one of the major governing bodies; CISSP preferred
• Familiarity with SaaS based software development patterns and security measures
• Deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and other web application threats
• 1-2 years working with software hosted in a public cloud (Azure or AWS preferred)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn business and technology concepts quickly
