·         Ongoing monitoring and assessment of operational risk and the overall control environment
·         Identification, documentation and  remediation of control gaps and root cause issue analysis
·         Assist in the end-to-end management of issue/action plan administration including development of action plans, tracking of open issues and validation of completion
·         In conjunction with legal, compliance and other functions, representing regional risk interests vis a vis control/regulatory initiatives
·         Participate and where appropriate project manage initiatives that influence regional and/or LE control and governance frameworks, assuring alignment with global standards and identify and escalate any outliers
·         Manage the regional Legal and Regulatory Change Management process for Risk
·         Monthly reporting to Regional Management
·         Ad hoc requests from Senior Management
Minimum Qualifications
·         Preferred experience in risk management, controls or other control related functions
·         Advanced analytical and organizational skills - tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence; proactive approach to identify and drive process improvements
·         Project management experience; ability to articulate a view, gain consensus and drive initiatives to completion with minimal supervision
·         Ability to forge internal relationships across a broad range of functions
·         Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - Excel proficiency will be verified
·         Excellent English language proficiency (written and oral communication); ability to present in a clear and concise manner
·         Fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills required
