Summary
The Marketing Coordinator works directly with marketing management to drive brand awareness and intent to visit Ashley HomeStores. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing general assistance to the marketing department in the day-to-day management of marketing initiatives. This position works closely with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines and outside agencies to ensure communications and promotions are aligned with marketing objectives. The Marketing Coordinator is accountable for the continued growth of awareness, engagement and visitation by implementing strategies of marketing initiatives.
Desired Background
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required
• 1+ years of professional experience outside of school/internships
• Experience developing promotions
• Comfortable with marketing across multiple marketing channels (POP, Digital, Social, TV, Radio, etc.)
• Experience with project management, giving feedback, and driving deadlines
• Detail-oriented
• Flexible
Primary Job Functions
• Supports the planning and execution of events which includes submitting work requests and creative briefs, creating event gamebooks and briefcases as well as creative reviews and routing approvals and changes.
• Maintain event content and communication on GoHomestores.com and AshleyHub.com.
• Work cross functionally with Merchandising, Ecommerce, Pricing, Social, Brand, Engagement Marketing, Sales and Store Operations to ensure marketing campaigns are deployed as planned.
• Provide project management for all assigned projects, ensuring project progress and deadlines are on target.
• Pull post campaign results and assist in analysis.
• Research competitors and stay abreast with the competitive landscape to present industry promotional trends to marketing management.
• Must be detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
