The Account Manager B, under minimum supervision, builds, acquires and maintains relationships with commercial/industrial accounts. This role serves as the liaison between the company, contractors, and TPI customers. Additionally, the Account Manager B assists the Regional Sales Manager in designing and implementing sales strategies, by performing additional duties and responsibilities to increase Company revenue and in supporting regional and company efforts to increase sales of all TECO Partner products.
Here are some specific duties and responsibilities….
• Responsible for selling all TPI products and services such as energy consulting, marketer services, gas sales, generation, commercial equipment, energy services, and bill auditing.
• Responsible for acquiring new energy consulting (EC) clients, with strong focus on maintaining assigned EC clients by effectively managing the relationship between the customer and EC team. Provide energy consulting sales support to TPI sales team as needed.
• Acquire and manage assigned key accounts and assist regional sales team in procuring new business as needed.
• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned natural gas industrial customers; assist with industrial revenue budget; sell appropriate TPI products and services to increase company revenues; and sell natural gas within assigned territory.
• Solicit and promote the use of all new gas technologies including natural gas vehicles and gas cooling. Work with client companies to develop new opportunities.
• Gain trust and credibility as an industry expert in the customer’s field of business and by providing solutions to the customer. Completely understand the energy industry through keeping abreast of the products, new and emerging technologies, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends in the assigned region.
• Actively participate in industry related tradeshows, FRLA events both local and statewide, AIA conferences, etc., with the goal of fostering long term relationships with key industry leaders and increasing TPI revenue opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with municipalities, school systems and institutional customers within and outside PGS territory to identify product and service opportunities in an effort to increase company revenues.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as needed.
What must you have before you can be considered…
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years sales experience.
• Must have excellent leadership qualities with good communication skills, both written and verbal.  Highly motivated sales person, with the ability for business development and prospecting skills.  The individual must have excellent cold calling skills and be extremely organized.  (Industry knowledge is helpful)

Working Conditions:
This position requires travel within the state of Florida 50 to 75% of the time.  Company car will be provided.  Must have a good driving record.
