Citibank, N.A. seeks an HR Generalist Senior for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers, and increase process effectiveness and efficiency. Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle. Partner with business managers to resolve Employee Relations issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed. Partner with Human Resource Advisors (HRAs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR priorities in respective client populations to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions. Ensure escalated client/employee issues are resolved with urgency, and employment policies and practices are interpreted consistently. Work with all key stakeholders including, HRA, manager, employee, Employee Relations (ER), Legal, and build and maintain partnerships to foster trust and accountability. Resolve HR issues conferring with managers when necessary. Assist large employee populations and participate on cross-Citi projects. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in HR, Compensation, Employee Relations or closely related position working for a Global Bank, Consultancy Service or Financial Institution covering the LATAM region. Work experience must include: Partnering with Country HR Officer, Advisors, and Business/Functional Line Managers to recommend, develop and execute human capital strategies to achieve business and company goals; Developing critical global compensation practices including global market pricing strategy and global salary structure; Acting as point of contact for global HR partners on matters relating HR issues, compensation practices, analyses, market data, and audits; Conducting compensation analytics, consulting, and reporting and conducting market pricing activities, including job matching, data analytics and job pricing and analyze cash and equity compensation practices and staffing trends in the market; HR systems used to manage Reduction in Force, salary and bonus planning, reporting and use of source of information of employees to prepare data to managers and for HR presentations; and Annual planning exercise for Salary Planning and the Bonus Pool.  Requires ability to fluently read, write, and speak Spanish and Portuguese to be used 100% of the time.  Qualified applicants submit resumes referencing job code MH/HRGS/SBMY to Citigroup Recruiting Department., 3800 Citigroup Center Drive, Tampa, FL 33610.
