Job Description
A fast growing company in the Lumber and Hardware Industry is currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales person to join our team.
A candidate with a strong sales background in Laminated Floors, vinyl, floor moldings, MDF, decking (Highly Appreciated)
Previous experience in the industry (preferably)
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Summary Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through close in an assigned territory.
Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the sales of all IMECA line of products.
Utilizes selling skills and product knowledge to give effective sales presentations.
Develops annual Marketing/Sales Plan.
Sets annual goals and objectives to meet sales quotas.
Ensures knowledge of pricing and proposal models.
Maximizes opportunities to close sales and has the ability to gain market share from larger competitors.
Recommends Imeca product lines to prospective clients as well as existing clients.
Develops and maintains customer database.
Sources and develops new client base.
Maintains accurate record of all sales and prospecting activities.
Contributes to the development of training programs offered by suppliers for the benefit of Imeca employees and customers.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
