Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set priority tasks, using provided schedules / reports
• Maintain Welding Stage Board, coordinating items to ensure on time delivery
• Measure and cut correct materials for machine shop job orders
• Control raw material inventory and insure correct materials are allocated
What You Need to Succeed
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficient blueprint knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances
• Fabrication shop practices
• Organizational proficiency
• High level of skill with grinding/sanding tools
• Operate drill press, milling machine, band saws, or ironworker
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs and work in multiple positions
• Organizational skills, coordinate daily activities
DESIRED SKILLS
• Welding experience, machine shop experience
• Shop Mathematics, Fractions, Decimals, Conversions/Angles
PREREQUISITES (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, ETC.)
• High School, trade school or apprenticeship program
• Drill press, hand grinders/sanders, and band saw operation
• Control raw material inventory utilizing shop routers and computers
• Fabrication knowledge including machine shop practices
• Tape measure/fractions/decimals/metric/system
