Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Sales Trader for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Work within the APAC Delta One Sales Team for Citi Prime Finance Business, a division within Investment Banking. Execute all parts of the trade lifecycle, from execution to custody, for emerging and franchise hedge funds globally. Provide securities lending coverage to our hedge fund clientele for their global portfolios. Formulate unique securities lending sales and tradition positions for hedge funds clients that actively trade in APAC markets. Perform daily management of client trading flows by pricing short locates and borrowing capital. Implement securities lending solutions in APAC markets and regional securities lending markets. Monitor the constantly evolving regulatory framework and its impact on the Prime Finance business in APAC markets operations globally. Provide individual securities lending plans and strategies to institutional clients active in APAC and other international markets. Utilize trading systems for securities lending strategies. Manage short and long collateral, set and mark financing levels, and provide both macro and tailored Equity Finance and short flow analytics and trade ideas to institutional clients. Maximize rate spreads and maintain old, and initiate new, financing balances. Manage client revenue targets by setting client budgets and balance targets. Provide detailed securities lending and delta one general market data analytics, including market commentary and trade ideas.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance/Economics or closely related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience as a Sales Trading Head, Sales Head or closely related position. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible work experience must include: International Financial Markets Knowledge; Prime Brokerage; Delta One Expertise; Monitoring the evolving regulatory framework; Developing Sales-trading Equity Finance products for clients; Maintaining client relationships with global institutional and hedge fund clients; Developing analytics, including Global Short Color Analytics; Managing short and long collateral; Setting and marking financing levels; and Providing macro and tailored securities lending products and trade ideas. 10% International and Domestic travel required.
