Bear Staffing Services is now hiring a Wireless Help Desk Technician in Tampa.
The Wireless Helpdesk Technician will respond to inbound calls, chats, and email inquiries from users who need support on their corporate wireless devices. The Wireless Helpdesk Technician will provide timely and accurate processing of tickets including but not limited to hardware and software troubleshooting, corporate email support, MDM enrollment and connectivity troubleshooting. Pay Rate:
• $16-18 per hour
Schedule:
• Must have flexible work hours and availability for day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday.
• Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities:
• Provide tier 2 technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to mobile devices. Transfers and/or refers more complex technical issues through a defined escalation process.
• Answer and resolve issues related to the enrollment/enrollment of MDM applications, setup of a new mobile device including application support, and troubleshooting email sync issues.
• Ensure first call resolution on all requests and properly set expectations for clients.
• Create all tickets with accuracy and route to the appropriate channel for the most efficient processing.
• Follow all standard operating procedures regarding the ordering process.
• Support additional call types as presented from the overflow call queues.
• Navigate a portal, walking users through the process of ordering devices and informing them of system functionality and features.
• Perform routine callbacks for requests received after hours or issues that are pending resolution.
We seek the following:
• A strong understanding of MMS companies or wireless telecom carrier practices
• Significant experience walking users through a complicated technical setup process
• Preferred experience required with the following platforms: Carrier Management tools such as: Verizon Portal, AT&T Premier Portal, Sprint, T-Mobile Dealer DirectMDM Platforms such as IBM Security MaaS360, Intune, SolarWinds, Soti, MobileIron
Requirements:
• Customer service skills
• Broad knowledge of wireless devices and services
• Strong background in problem solving and troubleshooting
• Ability to type 65 WPM
• Background screening and drug screening
• Occasional travel required
We’d love to find someone who has:
• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience working in a IT support environment or MDM
• Administration Business and Enterprise wireless carrier products/services background highly desired.
