The Sales Enablement & Content Manager is responsible for managing the GTM Readiness portal that supports all of Equinix's GTM functions, including Sales, Solutions Architects, Sales Operations, and Customer Care and Experience.
The individual in this role will be responsible for understanding the communications and enablement needs of each audience, along with how they consume and apply information, using these insights to inform the portal strategy user experience, information architecture, design, audience-specific content, workflows, and governance to name a few.
This is someone who is passionate about understanding the needs of their audience and finding new ways to improve sales productivity through effective sales tools and communications. The person in this role will be digitally savvy, bring creativity and critical thinking to problem solving and be a strong communicator. Success in this role hinges on having natural curiosity, developing a deep understanding of the business, and balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence.
This position is an individual contributor role.
Responsibilities
• Gather and vet detailed user requirements, using insights to scope and evolve the GTM Readiness portal including user experience, information architecture, content, and governance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Partner Programs, Sales Operations, etc. to proactively identify information, sales resources and best practices that need to be made available on the GTM Readiness portal to drive user productivity and effectiveness
• Author and curate portal content, ensuring relevance and tailoring content to be succinct, role specific and actionable
• Develop field communications that provides essential just-in-time information and promote GTM Readiness portal resources and news
• Use data analytics to assess portal usage, content consumption and business impact, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
• Establish and manage governance process for retiring and updating portal assets
• Constantly seek to evolve and refine the GTM Readiness portal to maximize impact to the business and unique user roles
• Master the portal technology platform to optimize functionality and manage the ongoing relationship with the platform vendor to stay apprised of new feature releases and implementation best practices
Qualifications
• 7+ years experience in communications, program management, web/digital marketing or enablement preferred
• Experience with content management systems, such as Seismic, a plus
• Excellent oral and creative writing communication skills
• Effective distilling large amounts of complex information so that it is simple and actionable
• Ability to work well within a team environment, both virtually and in person
• Highly-motivated, willingness to think outside the box, and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Fast learner that can navigate ambiguity and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for excellence in execution, with an eye for quality and detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelors degree, or equivalent practical experience required
