Full-Time Job Details Description Bloomin' Brands is seeking a Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Human Resources team in a newly-created role! Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, the Planning and Analysis Manager will build and maintain an effective planning, reporting, and analysis process for all of corporate. This role will maintain all functional spend models and forecasts. Additionally, this individual will partner directly with leaders to complete annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close activities (e.g. verifying expenses, explaining variances, etc.). This is a unique opportunity to become a business partner supporting executives and taking ownership of critical financial and operational processes. Responsibilities: Assist in developing annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly financial forecasts, long range planning and ongoing analysis of actuals versus plan and/or forecast.  Ensure processes as well as planning assumptions are documented appropriately. Establish positive relationships with, and become a key advisor to, functional leadership teams allowing you to build a nuanced understanding of data inputs and outputs. Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances. Work cross-functionally to enhance financial and operational performance trends (historical and forecasted) using appropriate metrics. Partner with our Compensation team to lead the planning and forecasting process for ST and LT incentive programs Identify and drive initiatives to optimize financial performance which includes improvement recommendations, gain leadership buy-in, and implement solutions across the organization. Partner with leadership teams to evaluate new initiatives.  Assist in the completion of return on investment analyses. Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate accruals and adherence to accounting policies Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed Qualifications: Possess exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accountability without direct authority Results-oriented with ability to execute tasks and activities independently as well as part of a team Demonstrated success in developing and applying Accounting concepts, practices, and procedures Good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating complex financial information in an easy to understand format. Able to interact comfortably with the executive management team. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change. Strong work ethic and ability to problem solve Software and system skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, SAP, Essbase) a must. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 3 to 5+ years of related corporate experience in an Accounting and/or Finance role   Qualifications
