About Makotek:
Makotek was founded in 2002 by a team of cable industry veterans with over 85 years of combined experience in leadership roles with major cable operators and nonpay retention service providers to the cable industry. We are a company that provides nonpay retention and equipment recovery services to the Cable TV industry, specifically Spectrum Cable. Makotek has grown into a company of over 400 employees with 20 offices in 10 different states. We have grown to become the single largest provider of retention services in the states where we first operated: New York, Ohio and South Carolina. We have worked for some of the largest Cable operators in the industry including Spectrum, Charter, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Insight Communications, Advanced Cable Communications and Bright House.
About this Job:
Makotek is an authorized contractor for Spectrum Cable looking for Field Retention Specialists for Hillsborough County and the surrounding areas. No experience is necessary and we offer paid training! Our Field Retention Specialists are responsible for driving to the customer’s home in order to either:
1. Collect past-due payments and have the customer’s Cable, TV and/or Internet services turned back on; OR
2. Collect equipment provided by Spectrum (e.g. Internet Routers, Cable Boxes, etc).
Qualified Candidates Must:
• Have a reliable vehicle;
• Have auto insurance;
• Have an active Driver’s License;
• Have a cell phone (Android or iPhone) to use our work-order software;
• Take a drug test and background check;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Communicate with General Manager at all times;
• Abide by all federal, state, and local regulations (including those for COVID-19).
Compensation:
• WEEKLY PAYCHECKS!
• Production-based pay-scale.
• Expected earnings are $20-$35 per hour when working full-time.
• Mileage compensation is provided.

Work Schedule (Full-Time):
• Monday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
