IT Application Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for an IT Application Analyst to provide fast and professional technical assistance on company computer systems, applications and other hardware located across multiple sites. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and assist in resolution.
An excellent IT Application Analyst must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be user-oriented and display professionalism to assist users with all issues.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email and in person
· Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and in person
· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
· Assist the user through the problem-solving process
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
· Record issues via ticketing system and document into Knowledgebase for future training
· Follow-up and update uses with status on outstanding issues
· Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users to the appropriate internal team
· Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Requirements
· Proven experience as an IT Application Analyst or other user support role
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Office 365) and other common web applications. Familiarity with Salesforce, Five9 a plus.
· Good understanding to support Mobile devices (Iphone, Ipad), printers, peripherals
· Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
· Excellent communication skills
· User-oriented and positive can-do attitude
· BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field or Certifications and or experience
