CSI Tech is searching for a Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle for a National Healthcare Services Company located in Tampa, FL.
Salary: $85k-$95k plus a 10% bonus
Position: Full time permanent w/full benefit package
Remote: 100% remote during Covid and 50% remote during normal operations
Position Summary: Revenue Management Services leader responsible for day to day performance and delivery of services to clients in healthcare revenue cycle. Leads standardization and optimization initiatives for company’s outsourced revenue management services business. Scope of direct responsibility includes day to day operational activities and staff oversight, workflow optimization, reporting/monitoring, and business leadership of new & existing technology implementations. Works directly with internal and external customers. Works independently as part of the business leadership team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Oversight and Management:
o Manages day to day operational billing, collection and posting leadership activities for Revenue Management Services
o Staff oversight and monitoring; modification/adjustment of staff activities/performance to achieve expected revenue and service levels
o Communication with/to company clients on topics related to performance, industry performance, benchmarks, and delivery of monthly reporting packages
Workflow Optimization / Organizational Improvement:
o Develops and implements process and efficiency improvements, using available RMS statistical data and other data/tools as available, to appropriately manage workload to achieve set goals and outcomes for company and clients.
o Proactively look for areas of improvement in revenue cycle processes, present recommendations with intended goals/measurements, secure approvals, implement and monitor results.
o Monitors ongoing processes and ensures appropriate oversight, correction, and documentation of challenges occurs timely; identifies barriers and challenges to achieving goals; formulates and implements solutions to ensure progress to goals is occurring.
Technology Optimization / Implementation:
o “Go to” business leader for all technology projects, working collaboratively with company’s technology team & 3rd party vendors
o Scope, lead, and coordinate multiple initiatives concurrently within business unit.
o Oversee and enhance the development of the data collection, analysis and reporting processes for the business, including information integrity validation and interpretation.
o Collaborates with business team regularly, identifying areas of optimization opportunity within client EMR environments as it relates to company workflow and areas of responsibility
• Monitor and manage issues, escalate to appropriate leadership as needed.
• Develop & recommend training plans for assigned projects, implementations, enhancements and optimizations that impact revenue cycle workflows; work with other business leaders on training implementation; oversee training documentation development and training process, monitoring outcomes, and identifying/mitigating areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Participate in testing of client EMR and company technology enhancements with revenue cycle impacts to ensure revenue flow aligns with defined/contracted operational expectations
• Business Growth / Advancement
• Assesses and responds to organizational and customers' needs with innovative programs to ensure company and client satisfaction. Leads revenue management standardization and oversees business-wide process improvement efforts. Assists with ensuring cost-effective and efficient processes and outcome management for internal and external customers.
• Ensures that goals for staff productivity and revenue are achieved or exceeded weekly/monthly as well as maximizing the net revenue collectability from all third-party payers. Identifies and escalates (when necessary) underperformance to achieve expected performance levels.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by VP of Revenue Management Services.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent field required; minimum of 5 years of applicable business-related experience required; experience in consulting or healthcare industry required.
Project Management Ability:
Create, implement and manage projects using Project Management best practices, tools and methodology.
