The Opportunity
CareFirst is currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our Tampa team. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for recruiting, employee on/off-boarding, employee relations, payroll and benefit enrollment for multiple companies & multiple states. This person should be self-motivated with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform full cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing onboarding, etc.
Create and maintain employee files in paylocity
Consult with hiring managers to ascertain needs within each department
Distributes communication materials for benefits for new employees and open enrollment
Process timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity software for multiple entities
Review payroll deductions for accuracy on a pay period basis
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Previous HR/Payroll experience
Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in multi tasking
Strong organizational skills
In Depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including benefits, leave management, employee relations, training and development, and payroll processing
Knowledge of Human Resources Management principles, laws, procedures and best practices
Previous experience working in paylocity a plus
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
Education
Associates or Bachelors or equivalent work experience
