NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join our client’s team in Tampa, Florida. This is a contract to hire position.
Responsibilities May Include :
• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure satisfaction with stakeholders.
• Drive to learn and embrace new technologies.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Collaborate with team members
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.
Qualifications :
• Experience with frontend frameworks
• At least four years of experience designing and developing responsive, enterprise-scale web applications and API’s
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or work related experience.
• Previous experience building responsive web UX.
• Strong understanding of browser responsiveness and compatibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Experience with Front-end tooling and testing libraries and methods.
• Experience creating and consuming REST web services.
• Experience with AWS and implementing distributed, cloud-based applications, Basic understanding of databases.
• Ability to accurately estimate deliverables using a range of estimation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude to learn.
• Learns fast, driven to work with the latest technologies and take initiatives to improve our platform, and align with the Principal Architect and other frontend developers on technical decisions.
• Experience with Git, especially with teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
