SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is seeking a Training Manager who will assume high-level responsibility for training, development, and culture. This detail-oriented individual will be the primary interface with corporate regarding training and curriculum needs for all assigned areas. The position is accountable for delivering key support to the Human Resources department and other areas in order to strengthen Company culture and ensure overall operational success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Work with Human Resource Business Partners to identify training needs to meet desired business outcomes.
• Design online and on-site training and methodologies to facilitate flow of information.
• Provide course review and refinement for company-wide training.
• Develop training required by local laws specific to particular parks.
• Implement employee surveys and manage employee survey action plans.
• Deliver high-level training such as leadership training for management teams.
• Oversee innovative training solutions supporting organizational objectives.
• Analyze and apply trends in learning technologies and instructional design.
• Develop learning objectives, structured learning activities, multimedia and visual aids for online and face-to-face interactions.
• Facilitate needs assessments and program development forums (e.g., focus groups, surveys, interviews).
• Develop, execute and supervise the progress of organizational training and development initiatives and cultural integration efforts.
• Partner with HR and other teams to establish and maintain effective appraisal methods and measurements.
• Partner with teams to design and execute ongoing development for Training and Development team members.
• Redesign and execute orientation and on-boarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help develop and manage the Human Resources operational and labor budget.
• Provide leadership to Human Resources employees regarding Company culture.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Primarily working indoors.
• May sit/stand for several hours at a time.
• Frequent change and/or interruptions, responding to highly stressful situations requiring immediate action, independent judgment, and superior problem-solving abilities.
• Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
• Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of training experience focusing on high volume operations, human resources or training and organizational development.
• A minimum of two years of leadership experience.
Background developing and executing training content.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Previous experience in virtual learning design and maintenance.
• Background in a service industry setting.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Thorough understanding of the principles of recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
