We are looking for a CCIE/CCNP Consultant to provide a network assessment for one of our clients.
Network assessment will include the following:

• Architecture - Review for modularity,scalability and capabilities

• Services and OLA’s - High Availability, OLA/SLA if defined
• MPLS/VPN Service - Remote Office and Client Access capabilities
• QOS Standards - Deployment Methods, OLAs
• Layer 3 Routing - Dynamic, Optimized, Secure
• Layer 2 Optimization - Spanning-Tree Security/Optimization, Distributed Layer 2
Device Inventory (performed remotely)
• Hardware Inventory Spreadsheet - Physical Hardware Inventory(Serial Numbers, if possible)
• Layer 1-2 Diagrams/Documentation - Physical Interconnectivity
• Layer 3 Diagrams/Documentation - Routing Connectivity, Gateway Management, Summarization, Route Entrances/Exits
Network Infrastructure Security
• Misconfiguration or Design Flaws - Firewall Design Review
• Weak Authentication or Encryption Protocols - VPN, Wireless, Any 8021x authentication methods
• Centralized Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting o AAAReview
• Attack Awareness (IPS/IDS) - IPS/IDS Design and Log Review
• Control Plane Policing/Security - Infrastructure Device Access, CoPP
• Rogue DHCP/Client Detection - Rouge Detection both wired and wireless
Infrastructure Monitoring and Management
• Central Monitoring/Alerting Capabilities - Management Platform utilization/capabilities
• Syslog Capabilities - Controls, Retention, Management
• Host End Monitoring/Management  -Host Detection/Monitoring
• Software Management - Deployment Processes for upgrades/patches
• Configuration Validation Capabilities - Lab Environment
• EoL/EoS Hardware and Licensing - Process for Lifecyle and Licensing Compliance
Configuration Management
• Centralized Configuration Backup - Configuration Backups
• Centralized Configuration Automation - Configuration Change Capabilities
• Configuration Change Management Window - ChangeControlManagement
Performance Monitoring and Analysis
• Net Flow Capabilities - Bandwidth Planning Capabilities

Deliverable(s)
Network Assessment Report – Provide the final report within ten (10) business days of the completion of the Project. This report will be reviewed with the customer to explain the findings and answer any questions that may arise. This report will include items such as:
• Executive Summary Documentation–overall summary review
• Principle Architect Review with Customer – architecture-engineering review, review
• recommendations
• Detailed Documentation Book–network documentation gathered in a single place
Requirements:
• Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• CCIE or CCNP certification
• Experience and proven success assessing networks
• Audit tools to conduct assessment
