Beacon Health Solutions , a cornerstone in the Tampa Healthcare landscape for over a decade, is searching for a Team Leader to join our Healthcare Member Services team. The Team Leader is responsible for maintaining the highest level of service for our members by effectively assisting the Customer Service Supervisors in the daily activities of the department, ensuring order accuracy and resolving issues in a timely manner, promoting and fostering an atmosphere of teamwork. The incumbent is cross trained in all product lines to facilitate assistance for all departments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Escalated call handling, resolution and follow up
• Agent calls, including conducting LIS/EPACES verification and using the LIS tracker file to document each call
• Escalated provider assistance, resolution and follow up
• Researches claims, appeals
• Claim reimbursements
• Creates and arranges Excel files.
• Assists Customer Service Supervisors in daily activities and operations
• Actively engaged in the coaching and development of the team members
• Responsible to provide floor assistance to agents when Supervisors are in meetings
• Active call monitoring and quality feedback
• Provides feedback to Trainer and Supervisors regarding agent performance issues and areas of opportunities
• Flexible to open/close as needed
• Demonstrates ability to manage team, when management is not available
• Completes special projects as assigned
• Participates in conference calls when Supervisors are not available
• Provides updates and program changes to agents daily/weekly and monthly
• Checks voice mails and provides necessary follow-up/call backs when necessary
Experience and Education:
• Member Services Experience Preferred*
• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years’ related experience
• Experience in healthcare/hospital/HMO setting Preferred*
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
