Our Top Client in Tampa, FL hiring an EDI / VMI Specialist that will be responsible for the development, unit and systems testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex EDI Transaction mapping and scripting, as well as providing 2nd and 3rd tier support for the EDI Operations team. The 2nd and 3rd level support includes resubmitting files, explaining X12 compliance errors, and explaining the logic used to format fields in the translator maps.
Responsibilities
• Analyze EDI and data requirements from customers and insurance carriers.
• Day to day support, administration and maintenance as Level 2 or 3 support for reported issues with EDI files.
• Problem analysis and documentation of EDI transactions and other inbound/outbound data processes
• Create a customer experience second to none, while managing multiple concurrently running projects - ensuring customers are referenceable
• Focus on timely scoping, completion of project milestones, quality review, scheduling and delivery of professional services projects.
• Work with third-party vendor representatives as needed to complete projects
• Ensure data quality and minimize risk for all projects
• Clearly and concisely document all project requirements and deliverables
• Management of inventory at customer locations
• Expedite, transfer entry, returns, cross referencing and sourcing product
• Shipment tracking and receipt of pricing functions
• Build rapport with both internal and external customers
• Act as liaison between Outside Sales, Product Management, Warehouse, Accounting and vendor partners
• Maintain knowledge of product offering and application through study of product materials and vendor training, customer service, etc.
Skills
1) Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) - operational, trouble shooting, document mapping
2) Experience with VMI Opentext (Vendor Management Inventory) - customer contact, data analysis, communications with sales team members and, internal departments.
3) Experience with SAP integration technologies *(IDOC, RFC).
