Responsibilities:
• Design and develop back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Building applications using data and/or manipulated data (SQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, etc.)
• Sustain existing functionality via technology updates and functional enhancements
• Coordinate with other developers in unit testing of integrated code components
• Research and implement methods to improve current platform efficiency
• Participate and perform code reviews
• Assist in code quality, including remediation of identified issues
• Work closely with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience developing microservices and/or REST APIs
• Experience developing application frameworks/platforms in a microservices Architecture
• Experience with some the following technologies (Java, React, Node, Python, C#, Elasticsearch, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with scalable systems design, especially AWS SaaS solutions, big data, and apps with large data demands
• Desired skills with relational database modeling
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with both management and peers
