Job Summary
JL Marine is seeking a Senior Xamarin Developer. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously and oversee and participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of applications. The majority of the work will be intense development/coding for mobile platforms. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to experience working in a fast paced, agile, entrepreneurial environment, in small to medium sized multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
• participate in the full software life cycle of our mobile solutions with emphasis on complex coding activities
• keep up with changing user requirements and fast paced development cycles
• understand functional requirements, prepare implementation strategy, estimate timelines, code, unit test
• create quality code based on working with architects, developers and subject matter experts
• collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the business vision of improved user experience
• work with life-cycle management tools for defect tracking, source code repositories etc.
• participate in peer reviews and QA processes
Preferred Work History:
• 8+ years of Software Development
• 4+ years of Mobile Application Development
• 3+ years of Xamarin Application Development – C#, Visual Studio for Windows
• 2+ years of Xamarin Forms Cross Platform Development (Android, iPhone, UWP)
• Successfully published and maintained an app to the Play Store – Android
• Successfully published and maintained an app to the App Store – iPhone
• Demonstrated use of proper application architecture supporting multiple device types (OS versions, orientations, screen resolutions, locales, etc.)
• Experience with Bluetooth communications for IOT devices from mobile platforms
• Experience developing communications with dedicated Web Services, Cloud, etc. from mobile platforms
• Experience with 3rd party products for Xamarin (Syncfusion, etc.)
• Successful use of NUnit / Xamarin.UITest  / VS App Center for automated testing
• Experience with Azure DevOps / TFS / Git
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases for mobile (SQLite, etc.)
• Understanding of L10N, I18N best practices
