This position is in the Florida Division. It is for managing, coordinating, auditing, and monitoring of all RTG Retail Store Inventory accuracy. This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Inventory Control.
• Job description includes but not limited to reviewing current policy and procedure follow up in each retail location.
• Audit and or physical inventory preparation of location through sales and inventory report reconciliation.
• Preparing audit plans and scheduling of physical inventories for each location.
• Evaluating timely completion and results of Store Browse Cycle audit activity for each location.
• Reporting of all audit findings through summary reports presented to management on schedule.
• Recommendations for corrections, policy procedure updates and changes.
• Position will also include involvement with clearance and distribution center inventory control teams.
• This position works closely with the Corporate Inventory team.
Qualified candidate:
• A high school diploma, college experience is a plus.
• A 4-year degree in a Business-related field, preferably in Audit or Accounting may be substituted for experience.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of retail/clearance related inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of distribution with multiple locations.
• Knowledge and understanding of inventory audit and cycle functions, including complete audit area reconciliation.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, self-starting, with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize or re-prioritize multiple projects.
• Microsoft Office experience and operational knowledge of excel.
• Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
• Travel 50% of the time with flexible scheduling.
• All travel and scheduling communicated and coordinated with Inventory Control team to maximize efficiency.
