Job purpose:
Client is looking for a paralegal that will be handling documents (up to 30 a day) working in teams and has experience reviewing and analyzing 3rd party/ corporate and contract law documentations.
Day to day responsibilities:
• Review all documents under a common supplier and group them into a document stack to be reviewed by the Legal Specialist on the team
• Review, sort and prepare documents stacks based on the Contract Schema provided and provide support to the team assigned to
• Create new contract files in Oracle ERP Procurement / Contracts Module and populate appropriate data fields as identified
• Review, analyze, and interpret contractual language including, but not limited to, terms and conditions, scope of work, duration, price, warranty, indemnification, and confidentiality provisions, for the Institution's contracts
• Engage in daily verbal, written, and electronic communications with varying stakeholders, business partners, leadership, and vendors
• Reviewing documents electronically in complex third party contractual matters from our Oracle database platform (most documents are presented in PDF or MS Word)
Must haves:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal, Business or related field
• 3 + years of paralegal experience
• Good understanding of legal contracts & legal language
Nice to have:
• Certified Paralegal (NALA, ABA, or equivalent governing body)
