Join a dynamic and fun Corporate Marketing team that supports and executes go-to-market pursuit strategies. As a key member of our marketing team at McKim & Creed, you will work with business development and project management teams to drive new business and build revenue growth.
We are seeking a talented A/E/C proposal specialist to lead McKim & Creed’s proposal development and pursuit efforts. As an employee-owned company, you will share in the value you create as we continue the growth trajectory that has led us to improving to No 159 on ENR’s top 500 design firms.
As a proposal specialist you will manage multiple aspects of business pursuits for the Pennsylvania region. You will join our leading pursuit development team to develop and implement pursuit strategies to produce winning proposals.
Description:
• Translate technical information to produce engaging proposals and presentations.
• Consult with Business Development and Regional Leaders to produce pursuit materials that achieve winning results.
• Provide ongoing proposal strategy and support—producing high quality content.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple pursuits and deadlines.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Engage in industry-related professional organizations to market our brand and understand market developments and trends.
• Lead in the creation and delivery of winning proposals and presentations.
• Interface with the Business Development team and client managers to train on and standardize lead tracking to maximize client interface and go/no-go analyses.
Required Skills
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (English, Marketing, Journalism or Communications).
• Minimum 2 years’ in A/E/C industry.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign required.
• Experience with Deltek Vision CRM is a plus.
• Understand procurement, market trends and business outlook within various service sectors and geographic markets.
• Must be willing and able to multitask to meet hard deadlines.
• Understanding and experience in marketing and business development best practices for A/E/C industry.
• Good organizational skills with persistent follow through in a consistent manner.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills.
• Lead pursuits by performing research and collaborating with technical staff to identify solid win themes and key messages.
• Translate abstract ideas or narrative text into graphical concepts to effectively communicate pursuit win themes to the client selection committee.
• Develop, improve and continuously test proposal content to support and enhance win themes.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
