IT Asset Management Specialist Opportunity
Location: Remote

Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT staffing firm, has a current opening for an IT Asset Management Specialist to be apart of the asset inventory team. Job Details:
• Ensure ITAM Discipline is adhered to across all aspects of the ITAM Process.
• Provide IT asset related metrics and reports as requested by management.
• Perform internal self-audits regularly and support external audits of hardware and software assets as required.
• Organize and analyze purchase information to establish an accurate and complete summary of asset costs.
• Identify savings opportunities for purchases, renewals and software licensing.
• Review and maintain owned software license repository and improve the scope, quality and reliability of the data.
• Participate in software license metering and harvesting efforts.
• Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
Requirements:
• Must understand the Asset Management Lifecycle
• Experience with Asset Tracking
• Work closely with Finance, Vendor Management, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Infrastructure Support and Engineering Teams, vendors/resellers, publishers and consultants
• Requires advanced skills in SharePoint and Excel & intermediate in Word, Visio and PowerPoint
• Experience with an enterprise SAM tool required - preferred in SNOW, Aspera, CA SAM, ServiceNow SAM, Tanium SAM
• Must understand how to create documentation and design processes
• Must be very analytical and questioning have the ability to analyze data (data manipulation, normalization, quality & integrity) and determine actions based on assessment
