Job Description Job Description Mission Health managed Communities offer a broad range of services to individuals in need of high-quality healthcare and rehabilitation assistance. With a focus on personal care and enriching activities, Mission Health Communities excel in helping our residents achieve essential clinical outcomes across a variety of service areas.
We are currently seeking a talented AP Specialist at our corporate office in Tampa, Florida. This position will have primary responsibility of working with our Accounts Payable team for our Communities and Home Office. This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable, including research/resolution of vendor account and community issues, new vendor paperwork and check printing.
Key duties include:
• Obtain appropriate verification(s) and approval(s) for invoices before processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements of account.
• Initiate Check, ACH, and Wire Transfer payments and reporting.
• Review and audit invoices from assigned communities.
• Conduct monthly review to ensure timely processing of recurring invoices.
• Ensure proper accounting of month-end and year end invoice entry.
• Research and resolve internal and external customer AP inquiries timely.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with all Customers external.
Qualifications
• 3 + years' experience processing invoices in a midsized company.
• Great Plains Experience a plus
• Experience with multi-company processing
• Pay close attention to detail
• Experience working independently
• Strong math skills
