We are looking for a dynamic experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments for multi-units operated by Corporate. A minimum of three years of experience is required. Individual must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. The right candidate will be trustworthy, dependable, and exhibit discretion with regard to confidential matters. In addition, have strong organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and have excellent phone and communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. Experience should include both Accounts Payable and Receivable, as well as Inventory accounting and knowledge of GAAP. Prior experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
Proficiency with - Excel, Outlook, Word and basic Math is required
Criminal background, Confidentiality Agreement and credit check required
Candidate must be in the Tampa Bay area and able to commute to our corporate office Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Essential Job Functions
• Full accounting responsibilities for multiple Corporate Affiliated Units, duties including:
• Processing Accounts Payable and semimonthly payroll information
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll, invoices, and other accounting entries
• Explain billing, invoices, and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Weekly cash flow analysis to include capital requests
• Review sales entries from the local level, troubleshoot, and back-up.
• Intercompany billing and receiving
• Process NSF, Refunds, and other patient transactions in proprietary software
• As part of a high performing team, formulate & execute action plans, provide internal updates on progress, and obtain & train on best business practices.
• Compose Financial Reports to be reviewed by the Executive Vice President and CFO.
• Provide weekly financial status reports to Executives (i.e. cash on hand, expected inflow, and expected outflows).
• Assist with the development and ongoing management of company and unit budgets.
• File and process all associated State and local taxes and maintain current licensures for each corporate location.
• Create and implement incentive and bonus structures for managers and clinic staff. Monitor for effectiveness.
• Create and maintain various tracking spreadsheets including CAU account information, financial summary, and insurance payments.
• Vendor relations including communication & negotiation of vendor service contracts and review of current contracts and accounts.
• Communication, training, and support for local managers on invoices, sales entries, inventory, and patient accounts.
• Due Diligence when acquiring or opening a new clinic. Actions to include are forecast, budget and initial requirements, vendor set-up, licensures and taxes, set-up accounting software, and coordinate communication with the finance department.
Non-essential Job Functions
• Serve as Liaison between clinics and corporate office, troubleshoot problems, and improve communication to facilitate growth.
• Participate in the development and delivery of System Standards Training, Regional Trainings, National Conventions, Elearning, and on-site training.

• Support the organization, protection of the Brand, and handle confidential information.
• Provide ongoing support to clinics to promote profitability and success.
Requirements
• Knowledge and experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Able to apply this knowledge for job duties.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
• Knowledge or experience with medical office bookkeeping including receiving and tracking insurance payments.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
• Must provide references reflecting strong moral character
Other Skills/Abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficient in Intuit Quickbooks Online
• Be able to multi-task, prioritize, apply critical thinking skills, and provide the highest level of customer service both internally and externally. All should be with a high level of accuracy.
• Lift and carry 25+ pounds and sit for long periods of time
• Type 45 wpm
• Be a confident and positive team-oriented person motivated to aid in overall organizational growth
• Ability to engage in a wide variety of business discussions and quickly learn new and/or complex concepts
