Our client, one of the largest financial services firms, is seeking a Systems Engineer-Senior
Location: Tampa, FL
Position Type: Contract
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Project Manager will participate in the planning, execution and delivery of complex HR business projects. Leads, defines and manages projects and project plans to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. The Project Manager will serve as a resource to the HR Information & Security team on the implementation of various initiatives occurring in the next year.
The candidate must have strong presentation skills and the ability to co-ordinate activities globally.
Responsibilities:
-Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes.
-Monitors project execution to deliver incremental business value
-Provides insight to management on issues.
-Understands each project's critical path activities and proactively manages those to project's benefit.
-Collaborates on creative alternatives to project challenges; collaborates to drive adoption and challenge standards.
-Maintain relationships with HR, HRSS and GFT team members
Support the HR Information & Security team specifically on:
-The implementation of new HR Partner Workday security model. This will include operational support in increased maintenance of security assignments
-Implementation of new Workday Delegation functionality. Individual will support team by creating education materials and continue to collect feedback to enhance delegation functionality
-Employee tag management in Workday. Support in design implementation and maintenance of new employee tags
-Position Management in Workday. Support team by rolling out initiative to clean up thousands of unfilled open positions in Workday.
-Provide support to educate HR and the business on the concept of position management.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
-2+ years of experience
-Experience with Workday and ServiceNow desired
-Excellent numerical/analytical capability
-Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
-High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
-Ability to think strategically and then execute upon that design
-Proven ability to plan and coordinate
-Self-motivated and detail oriented
-Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
