Full Job Description
In Cano Health, we are currently looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager who will support Cano Health’s Tampa and Orlando markets and will assist with day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department, including the administration of policies and procedures, as well as full cycle recruitment efforts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for the identification, recruitment and selection of potential candidates based off job requirements and descriptions.
• Coordinate and handle all related administrative aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process (i.e. applications, offer letters, required new hire paperwork processing, Cano Health ID Badges, etc.)
• Facilitates training sessions for managers on recruitment laws, policies, and practices including effective search processes, interview and selection techniques, and facilitating positive candidate experiences.
• Builds pipelines of candidates through the establishment and utilization of relationships with community groups, centers of influence, and other candidate sources as needed.
• Seeks out and recommends sources of candidates including the Internet, colleges, job fairs, technical schools, etc.
• Conduct new hire orientation with new associates and follow-up with new hires to ensure a positive on-boarding experience.
• Assists managers and supervisors with employee relations issues, ensuring managers follow progressive discipline procedures.
• Conduct investigations when associate complaints or concerns are brought forth.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
• Assist in preparing and delivering associate communications.
• Assists with the implementation of the performance management system, including evaluation of associates (90-day evaluation & annual performance appraisals)
• Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.
• Assists the HRIS/Payroll manager to maintain the payroll database.

Education & Experience_*
• Bachelor’ Degree in Human Resources or related business field
• 5+ years’ experience in a human resources position
• Professional HR or SHRM certification highly desired
• Healthcare and/or hospital experience preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
• Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Familiarity with benefit administration, advanced HR and Employee Relations functions, basic payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
• Skilled in written and oral communication.
• Ability to communicate with associates, patients and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
