GHD’s North American Marketing Team is seeking a Marketing Specialist with specific focus on assisting the delivery of the marketing and communications plans that support North American business strategy. In this role, you will manage processes and systems to ensure smooth delivery of all internal and external marketing communications in a manner that reflects GHD's values and purpose.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Providing support to the Marketing & Communications Leaders in the execution of marketing programs and campaigns for Water, Environment and Transportation
• Assisting in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, thought leadership, conferences, etc.)
• Support delivery of leading, effective, innovative, engaging and multi-channel communications programs across North America
• Collaborate with the marketing team and Centers of Excellence across the globe to develop clear project briefs; respond to questions that arise during campaign implementation.
• Write, develop and produce content for variety of channels (web, social, collateral, video, thought leadership, webinars)
• Ensure all communication adheres to project brief and brand standards
• Track and monitor data to help analyze the success of our campaigns and programs to optimize activities based on insights and implement improvements where necessary
For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field of study
• 2-5 years of marketing and communications experience in a similar role
• Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - an open communication style
• Works effectively with people and builds good working relationships
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Comes forward with solutions to challenges/issues
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
