Full-Time Job Details Description This individual will be responsible for global procurement management activity across all concepts for Land Proteins, Furniture Fixture & Equipment (FF&E), Smallwares and Restaurant Services. The workstreams will include risk management, sourcing strategy development, supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, store development and day-to-day execution. This individual will deliver a predictable, competitive cost structure, consistency in quality, and assurance of supply in support of the Company's strategic and financial objectives. The Director of Procurement must be a strategic leader who possesses a hands-on approach, with the ability to establish and surpass challenging goals. Responsible for driving global connectivity, business alignment and category expertise within areas of focus in support of business goals and objectives across all concepts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES  Develop and implement strategies on a global basis for the categories under management (Land Proteins, FF&E, Smallwares and Restaurant Services) that minimize exposure to risk and commodity volatility including cost/benefit analysis of contracting directly with suppliers Identify sources of supply and successfully put together complex contracts to assure supply and cost savings Provide ultimate oversight and accountability for the supplier relationships for the responsible categories Lead the creation and execution of cost savings and innovation pipeline programs through effective management of strategic suppliers and internal cross-functional teams Partner with Design and Construction and lead Supply Chain successful store development and renovation project execution. Liaison between Development and Supply Chain. Develop cost models, new supplier development to increase competition, and introduction of substitute cost effective replacements Analyze Category purchases and implement changes to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's Category purchasing capabilities Evaluate existing processes and implement value-added changes for identifying, evaluating, and selecting potential suppliers, and negotiating favorable business terms and service level agreements Work collaboratively with the Business Units, and the R&D, Operations, and Development teams to identify and align on strategic initiatives that drive productivity, innovation, and revenue generation Work collaboratively across the Supply Chain organization in support of the development and implementation of the broader transformation platform, including design structure, SKU rationalization, globalization, and innovation. Protect company and brand reputation through strict adherence to the highest ethical standards consistent with company policy REQUIREMENTS  Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, required Experience/Skills: 10+ years of overall procurement experience, leading buying categories to include Land Proteins, FF&E and Smallwares within large scale corporate organizations and prior responsibility for multi-million dollar spend. Strong knowledge and experience within the Pork and Poultry food categories 5 years of management experience, preferably in a global capacity Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing strategic sourcing programs and strategic supplier relationships within the Food/Beverage industry Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a procurement team Must have experience in conducting comprehensive supplier analysis and screening, analyzing supplier proposals and using decision-making tools/models, including financial and non-financial criteria, to support the buying teams in negotiations and facilitate award recommendations. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams; Displays integrity and transparency in interactions with others Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent analytical and mathematics skills Good communication skills and adept negotiator Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment Qualifications
