Full-Time Job Details Description Summary: Performs various tasks necessary to ensure the shipping and/or receiving process runs smoothly in all areas of plant.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Must have knowledge or be willing to learn foam types  Must have current fork-truck license or be willing to obtain license  Willing to work in different areas of plant based on daily need and/or absenteeism/vacations.    Retrieve proper foam types from warehouse or other areas of plant for machine/press operators within dept.  Will be required to assist with taking inventory  Wrapping/Packaging shipments based on requirements  Obtaining shipping/receiving orders from the office.   Check orders and match up barcode stickers with the proper order depending on customer.  Identify and verify product to be shipped by style number or item identification.  Make sure that the barcode and/or label is attached to product.  Ability or willingness to learn how to operate a scan gun(s)  Make sure the count is correct and product is identifiable  Use dolly and/or fork truck to load trailer.  Fill out proper paperwork and turn into office, supervisor, or lead  Always check for quality of product that we are shipping and/or receiving.  Overtime may be required based on Customer/Production needs.  Ability to safely unload compression trailers.     Minimum Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Language Skills Ability to read, write and comprehend information, instructions, and memos.    Mathematical Skills Ability to read tape measure; basic math, common fractions and decimals.    Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed technical written or oral instructions.    Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
