Summary of Position Transflo is looking for a Manager of Strategic Partnerships to join our growing team. This high impact role is an opportunity for you to launch, negotiate, manage, and cultivate strategic relationships to drive the growth of the business. As Transflo continues a period of accelerated growth, we need a top-notch Strategic Partnerships Manager who can take our vision to the next level.
Transflo is extending its focus within the supply chain to incorporate shippers. This role will focus on building and maintaining strategic partnerships within this verticle. This position will focus on developing critical relationships with Warehouse Management Systems, Freight Visibility, Yard Management, and other Shipper focused solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships and/or business development. You have an in-depth understanding of structuring, launching, and managing successful revenue-driving partner relationships. You have experience working with a broad spectrum of partner types. You have a knack for driving cross-functional initiatives and a track record of outperforming targets. You thrive off of quickly and effectively building trust, and use your empathy to inform this cultivation. You also have the financial and legal skills to round out your partnership proficiency. Above all, you're an empathetic, resilient, and innovative person that will contribute lasting positive effects to our team and external partners.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
• Create and maintain relationships that market the Transflo solution
• Working knowledge of TMS
• Transportation/shipper exp.
• Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and client visits
• Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
• Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
• Negotiate and finalize deals following Transflo's contract guidelines and policies
• Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners' liaison internally
• Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
• Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
Job Requirements:
• College Degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science, preferred, experience commensurate with education
• 10+ years of experience within Saas based Product Management roles
• Knowledge of Transportation/Trucking industry a plus
• Ability to grasp and train technical aspects of Transflo Products
• Align with Transflos Mission Statement
• Use knowledge of technical and industry trends to drive innovation
